Ås

Ås is a municipality in Akershus county, situated in the south east of Norway, close to Oslo. Ås is a small town with appx 16000 inhabitants. In Ås you can find Tusenfryd, a big amusement park and Norwegian University of Life Sciences (UMB). 

UMB has about 3800 students, which 500 are international students. UMB offers a vide range of subjects like: food science, animal science, applied mathematics and statistics, biotechnology, business administration, economics, chemistry, entrepreneurship and innovation, landscape architecture, plant science and much more
