Bergen

Bergen is the second biggest city in Norway with a population of appx 260 000 inhabitants. Bergen is located in the county of Hordaland on the south-western coast of Norway. Bergen is surrounded by 7 muntains and is one of the most rainy cities in Norway. Despite of all the rain, Bergen is also said to be one of the most beautiful cities in Norway.

In Bergen there are about 25000 students and 14500 of them can be found at the Unveirsity of Bergen. They offer several study programs, among others medicine, teacher education, languages, humanities, law, pshycology, sience etc.

In Bergen you can also find the Bergen University collage, BI (Norwegian school of management), and NHH (the Norwegian school of economics and business administration)

The ESN section in Bergen is supported by the University of Bergen.

Fløyen. Perfect place for hiking in summer and skiing in winter. 
 
Bryggen is one of the most historical places in Bergen, 
 

Bergen is famous for its outdoor concert location, and several big artists like Bruce Springsteen, Pink and Coldplay have preformed at Koengen. In august 2011 Rihanna is preforming!!
 
 
 
Kvamskogen, close to Bergen. Perfect for cross country and downhill skiing.
 
From Bergen you can take the famous "Flåmsbane" and see beautiful fjords and waterfalls
