
Trondheim is the third biggest citiy in Norway with 173 000 inhabitants. Trondheim is located in the middle of Norway and is famous for their trøndersk dialect, mustache and leather west. Trondheim is a beautiful city, often referred to as "Paris du nord". The river Nidelva separates the city, and the famous church Nidarosdomen is located in the city center.
Trondheim is one of the biggest student city in Norway, and there are several higher education institutions to be found there. Trondheim is also the only student city in Norway with "boyfriend/girlfriend guarantee" - you wont stay single in Trondheim! There are 20 000 students studying at NTNU which is Norways second biggest university. NTNU offers different fields of study like: architecture and fine arts, engineering science and technology, humanities, natural science and technology, medicine, social science and technology management, natural history and archaeology.
