The Northern European Platform is one of five regional platforms in ESN, arranged once a year. NEP includes the eight countries Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Latvia, Estonia, Russia and Lithuania. This event seeks to introduce the section members to international projects, committees and the overall structure of the network, as well as to share best practices, experiences and ideas with members from other sections across countries. 
This year NEP was organized in Vilnius from the 19th to the 22nd of October. ESN Norway sent 13 delegates, which we’re very happy about. It's worth noting that all our sections, except one, were represented. Such events hold significant importance in informing and inspiring new ESN members, fostering their active engagement not only at the local level but also on a broader scale. 
The agenda was tailored for the volunteers needs and there were many opportunities for networking. NEP this year was focused a lot on interactive learning through workshops and discussion sessions, rather than one-way communication through presentations. Important topics like time and event management, motivation, leadership, project implementation and collaboration have been covered. 
The ESN Norway delegates expressed great satisfaction with the event. They believed they had gained valuable insights into ESN and our projects, and they were enthusiastic and determined to carry this newfound knowledge and innovative ideas back to their respective sections.
